The pop server is "pop.gmail.com:995" The smtp server "smtp.gmail.com:465" Username xxxx not [email protected] SSL connnection ticked Outgoing mail requires authentication ticked And using t-mobile web 'n' walk at 10 minute polling you get free "push" email (of sorts) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Install IBM's virtual JVM : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=279600 (can use either version depending on yer preference where you want to install it) 2. The midlet manager requires the location of .jad and .jar files, enter this url : http://gmail.com/app/v1.0.0/en/gm-Generic-Advanced_MIDP2.jad (in case it says during download .jar file was not found try again the link must've dropped) 3. In case you're wondering where can you get the files for google maps : http://www.google.com/gmm/apps/v1.3.1/L1/g...ed_MIDP2_L1.jad I'm using this on my HTC TyTn and it's working fine. Hi Ive tried the IBM java version instead of the Intent Midlet manager already on the phone, runs ok and has a few better features but also a few problems. Firstly, all the screens can be used with buttons rather than having to use the stylus but the address book search wouldnt work properly and the send action tended to make things hang. Does anybody know where I can get hold of the installation file to reinstall Tao intent player so I can run opera mini and GMAIL on my SPV without having to pass via internet explorer ? T-Mobile UK, Web’n’Walk)) but one annoyance for me is that every time I fire up the app or do something that requires data to be downloaded that applet pops up a screen that requires me to grant permission to connect to the net. The screen says: ‘”Gmail” wishes to access the network, which might use call time. This MIDlet suite is not from a trusted source. Allow this time? [No] [Yes]’ As I’m on the ‘unlimited’ £7/mpnth Web’n’Walk tariff this is not a warning I need to see. Is there any way to switch off this warning?
