If you try it, it is removed from Sim. Device is activated:

1. type *7465625*638*# to set
2. MCC/MNC (21601)
3. type your new NCK (12345678), then OK
4. type *#7465625# to check your lock (network lock still enabled)
5. type #7465625*638*# and type your NCK (12345678)
6. Enjoy.

phone unlocked using instructions

use these tips:

use your original sim, that the phone is unlocked to, e.g. if its on T-Mobile, then use a T-mobile sim to unlock phone

then retreive mmc/nmc wht eva tht codes is   enjoy

If you follow my method you don't need any sim at all . My omnia was brought from Spain, unlocked, true, but after flashing got that error. Remember, just edit that IMSI key in the registry then use either the codes or those 3 links (lock, status, unlock) from omnia unlock.

from Polish pda site (http://pdaclub.pl/fo...?topic=120622.0) for samsung i780, but it works also on my Omnia (DXHL2_LFI04a).

If you have a problem (like "Fail to Set Locking status"), change the ROM on the other (for example, as in my message, do not forget to backup), then work, then go back to the old ROM.

Hi,

I am in Canada and tried using this method to unlock.

The MCC/MNC advised me I have the wrong code.

The device is locked to bell mobility, I used all code listed, could not use hash and was denied.

Any suggestions

Hey ive followed these instructions on a vodafone UK omnia and it works fine, only tested on a t-mobile UK sim


Just wondering, will the phone still be unlocked after a hard reset or would i have to do it again?

to unlock the omnia with IMSI Not Active you must have a working card inside meaning a card of the network of that phone is locked
that is the only way you can get it

so you must get a working card that happens to me until i get a working card i cant unlock it
when i put working card in less then one minute phone unlock
