i've already tweak my phone base on post #130 and #131 yesterday although i don't even understand it.it's already been 15 hours and my phone is still running good.alarm wakeup working nicely this morning.tweak from post #1 only lasted for 3-4 hours only.gonna post back here if my phone got problems.

It is simple Just install a version, that will have sound. Or if you have installed, but phone hangs, go to HKLM\Drivers\Builtin\BtA2dpSnd and delete "Flags" key.
That will be enough i think

Just installed & followed #131.

Here is a modified SRS according to post 131.

It also includes the security certificates and the modifications.

vbox can check it out and tell me if i missed smth

EDIT: Fixed prev cab, it should remove now the Flag key fro BtA2dpSnd. Check it out and let me know pls

2. Soft reset.
3. Hooray!

may i ask. did u uninstall before the previous version?

are you using also R2VS simultaneously?

If so please uninstall both and reinstall

Sorry but with me in the last one from Kuanchai it doesn´t work...i still have the flags.....i make the registry edition and it is working.....gooooooooooooddd!!!thanks a lot!!!!!!!!

Hmmm, phone wouldn't wake up... had to remove the battery. Let me try re-installing.

Well i must say that its maybe the 100 time im trying this to work.Ive been following the threads hoping for  a final fix because wow is so MUCH better that rsv or else    So far so good  the phone wake up with any button and in lock mode too.But im testing this all afternoon because the original problem wasnt the first moments but some time later.Even so thank you very much.
If this fix work i want to ask Sector to cook in future roms because this is a must have app for our phone.

Second time installing will help you. Right now i am with Sector's cab and it work. I have to install it twice too.
Anyway, check your registry in Bta2dpsnd aftr install, and if there is "Flags" key Omnia will hang. You can delete it and that solves the problem.

Thanks vbox ... It seems you have finally nailed down this long-standing unsolved mystery. It's been working beautifully so far. I'm using your tip with another build with 1.5.1 control panel on, not a single freeze. Very much appreciate your posts (#131, #142) here. For those experiencing sound distortion at a high definition level while listening with an a2dp headset, try the following setting. It may help to reduce it.

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2DP\Settings
UseJointStereo 1
SampleRate 48000
MaxSupportedBitPool 51
MinSupportedBitPool 33

One more note, for my case, OutputDevice setting under WaveDev key, didn't make any difference. I just left the setting there.

Installed sector's cab, then had to add/delete a few of the reg entries as per #131.

So far so good!

Just reporting something in.
I installed the vbox .cab and it well flawlessly (with flags removed), even with WiFi on (with old SRS, when I turn on WiFi or Bluetooth and I put it in sleep mode, it just freezes). But today when I woke up, Phone hang up. I'm going to see again #131 and try next.
