Ive had them as quick as 4 seconds and as slow as 30 seconds.
Sure you are doing a cold lock?
I tested from a clean flash, each time before posting. Doesnt get any colder than that.

yep - cold lock; days between locks and in a different location
Does flashing a new rom remove the gps almanac data from memory (can be found in EFS explorer using QPST)? A 4 second cold TTFF without aGPS sounds too good to be true.

I dont see why it wouldn't.
You are the expert with QPST--wanna give it a shot and let us know?
I know prior to this, it took me in the upwards of 5+ minutes to get a GPS lock after a flash.

You can find it via torrent...it is an internal qualcomm tool.
The next time I flash a rom I will check EFS for GPS almanac data.

I'd like to see screenshots of VZNav working on ANY cooked rom, or even CC20.

Here is GPS Quick Position, with a screenshot. This is the better of the two apps that Adrynalyne found.
http://www.modaco.co...e=post&id=34535
GPS_Quick_Position.cab 71.97K
73 downloads
(unrelated question: How do you guys insert images into a post? I upload the image as an attachment, insert the attachment into the post, preview the post, than copy the image URL from the post preview and use the insert image feature to then put the actual image in the post, and delete the attachment line that was inserted prior; surely there's gotta be a better way!)
