Using NPS to upgrade to 6.5 or how to downgrade to official ih5 after flashing Secany Roms

Hi everyone,

so ne need to use the fake one anymore.

i read that a lot of people wanted to do an official update using new pc studio k1 version( i was one of the people) after using secany or zorg firmware.

So i decided to give it a try.

Basicly nps detects which country you o2 is from using the csc file.

Problem the i8000xsoih1.csc can not be found.(For singapore)

So i decided to create a FAKE ONE based on famih4

and i was successful.

So i downgraded to i8000XXIH3 using zorg version

And phone dxih2

and using my fake csc.

So ihad

PDA: I8000XXIH3

CSC: I8000XSOIH1

PHONE: I8000DXIH2

and when i connected my phone to new pc studio i was prompt for the upgrade.

If you install NEW PC STUDIO VERSION H2_H5 instead of k1

NPS will update you to official H5 and it will overwrite my fake csc with the original one

PDA: I8000XXIH5

CSC: I8000XSOIH1

PHONE: I8000DXIH2

iI have attached my fake csc file.

As usual i am not responsible for any damage,brick, loss of data that can occur .

Thank very much. Just downgraded from IK5, IJC etc and now testing on HH5 without the Samsung thingy. SPB mobile shell instead. Next week will used your fake csc tried to done a official upgrade from Samsung.

famh4 has the same sales code and region than xsoh3 so i change the name of the csc inside the file using an hexadecimal editor

Obviously me lol

my understanding is that nps is looking for a combination of rom , csc and phone.

So if you flash to ih3 + fake csc + phone you should have

PDA: I8000XXIH3

CSC: I8000XSOIH1

PHONE: I8000DXIH2

this combination is valid for update in singapore as it's one of the original combination.

try flashing to Phone H2 keep getting fail, 105%.

Will try one more time if still cannot will flash all back to K5 and forget abt upgrading via NPS.

DXIH2 Phone can be found on DXIH5 ROM.

reinstall NPS and change country to singapore. I have no luck.

maybe i just used K5 from secany..
