[MAMBO04]

Hey everyone,

i've been looking around and i've found a couple of new apps/themes etc for the Omnia. As Sector has already created a Goodies thread but that is now not updated and crammed, i'm creating a new thread on new omnia stuff and upcoming apps. If you have any to share, don't hesitate to post them here for everyone else!

First of all, i want to thank all of the creators of these certain apps/themes/utils and i am only spreading them here, they all originated from XDA.

Not a lot has been released in the past few weeks, but anyhow i've managed to find some things. Here is the list: (i will update once more are released)

LEO Lockscreen by Mr.Makk

This lockscreen has been taken fromt he HTC Leo and converted into WQVGA Res by Mr.Makk, the screenshot is from my phone BUT don't worry about the white borders, that only exists in my ROM, it won't be in this lockscreen



Microsoft Keyboard for Windows Mobile 6.5.3 (Still in development)

This keyb is a new one from MS, but still has a long way to go. If you want it, then it is here!

HTC Welcomehead and Animated Start-up WQVGA

This as you all may know is HTC's new start-up for the HD2. It has been ported by the guys over at XDA and it looks pretty good. One thing i would say though is that someone needs to get rid of the green 'HTC' and replace it with 'Omnia'



Titanium HeroPack + JMLPanel

Someone asked about this in the forums a while ago, i found it on XDA and compiled a package for Omnia users. It is pretty nifty and looks like the android interface I don't have any screens of this as i uninstalled it, so can someone please post some screens if they install it? cheers.

NOTE: Install HeroPack cab files and JMLPanel in Device ONLY! This is IMPORTANT!

Resco Explorer 2010 has also been added into my 4shared folder. I also have Sony Ericssons Xperia X2 keyboard but it is in VGA resolution ONLY and i need someone who can port it to WQVGA. If you want the file to see if you can convert it, PM me. Reason i'm not uploading it here is because people will install it and then find that their Omnia is bricked. I have the TellMe app by MS as well, but you need to install MSVC for it to work. I'll upload it later.

EDIT: New HTC Touch Diamond ringtones and sounds added. Extracted from the Touch Diamond (did it myself) and you can use these instead of Windows' crappy ones

Again, BIG thanks to all the creators and authors. I take no credit in creating these apps etc.

I have a lot of Omnia stuff (in case i need to format my phone) so if anyone needs something do feel free to ask. I'll upload it to 4shared. Oh and Chefs, you can use any of these apps to cook into your ROMs if you need to.

Oh and please do take screenshots of the apps above if you install them, we need more screens

I just installed the black, black theme via his all folder link and also the LEO Lock screen both seem to work great on the i910.

Currently using storm's 28005 which by the way seem excellent its fluffy but not to stuffy with good stuff

The Leolock is really nice I think..

thanks for replying and confirming that some of them work on the i910

There is a problem with the keyb, DO NOT install it to device mem, it causes a hard reset.

i'm looking into it so don't install it atm.

The Titanium Hero Panel is all buggy for me.  I like the green theme though!  Thanks for all those extra things too!

the titanium pack only works for landscape i think

and yeah it isn't bug free but it's worth a test and yeah the MS keyboard works in new builds such as 28011+ but the cab posted by me doesn't, it causes a hard reset, so i'll update this thread tomorrow.

If you want my ROMs which have the MS Keyb (no skin for now) then check the ROM area. (Swype is included )

Just a few interfaces and themes to look out for from this year and the next which on the most part were designed to work with WM6.5. Hopefully, someone has the interest to port if it is possible to port or has already been ported to the Omnia which which I somewhat doubt due to its shortcomings but nevertheless:

- X-Craw. Made for the Sharp WS027SH by Japanese carrier Willcom
- Glide. Designed by Asus for the P835 (also known as Garmin Nuvifone M20)
- Airo Intelligence. Airo A25is
- SmartZone (based on flash). Gigabyte S1200
- S-Class. LG GM730, similar to the Omnia.

I tried this lockscreen but only the slide icon changed , is there a way of making the slide button go to the bottom of the screen like in the picture ?
