Wäre es Dir auch möglich ein Rom mit Windows 6.5.3 zu basteln, da mir die großen Buttons hier sehr gut gefallen würden, ich aber leider keine Rom Cooking behersche. Guest rainerateimer Posted January 3, 2010 Report Share Posted January 3, 2010 Hey im also from Germany (Stuttgart) and i never flashed a custom rom bevore with the I8000, but with my previous phones (HTC Touch HD and Omnia I900). So my question is do you think it is save to flash allready (just the phone part)? Or should i wait a couple more Months? And with my standart German Omnia I8000 can I flash any Rom thats availabler in this forum? Sorry to bother you, but i want to flash really bad (hate the small ram and storage with the standard Rom) but I also dont wana break a 500€ phone. Guest MrChiliCheese Posted January 3, 2010 Report Share Posted January 3, 2010 Hi Rene, no the chance of bricking the phone is really small, because only the PDA-Part is flashed... as long the bootloader (eboot) is not damaged u can flash back :) I thin it is the best if u flash secanys file (IL5) and this version from DocSnyder... And with the Octan mini downloader i dont have to check more than listed in the I8000 flashing manual thats posted on top of the forum? Any tipps for me or am I all set with the manual?
