How to flash 6.5 onto i8000

Hey guys. I finally got my omnia and want to upgrade it to 6.5 here's what I have. My omnia is an Australian Telstra branded one with the telstra firmware, CSC and Phone on it but is unlocked. I want to know how to upgrade this to 6.5. I'm running Windows 7 x32 and tried downloading Samsung NPS. NPS opend when I plug in the phone however it is not detected so I can't upgrade to a 6.5 Singapore rom. So I'm left with secany's pda, phone and CSC downloads. I have a few questions. Will flashing my omnia with the CSC, PDA and PHONE provided by secany screw it up in any way? If not, as I'm not very experienced at this, can someone put up some clear step by step instructions on the whole process? I tried to follow secany's but got extremely confused. :) Thanks in advance!
