Samsung Omnia 2 - Shuts off by itself for no reason

HI,

I just wanted to check around to see if anyone has ever experienced and SOLVED the problem of the O2 phone shutting down by itself?

It's a very peculiar problem, since the phone that shuts down belongs to a friend of mine, while mine works just fine.

Both phones have tried out Secanny's IL5 and JA1 Roms, but only my friend's phone seem to repeatedly shut off by itself.

Mine remains fine and has never had such a problem.

At first, I thought it was a ROM problem, but if both phone use identical set of applications and configuration, could the problem be attributable to the hardware or even battery????? I've been a user of Secanny's ROMs IJ9...IK2...IK5...IL2...IL5..JA1...and now JA5 so I doubt the problem is ROM-related.

Please assist and share your experience and suggestions if you've encountered such a phenomenon before.
