I have just purchased the omnia 7 after owning a galaxy s as i fancied a change away from android.

still trying to find my way aound things and that will no doubt take time but need a help with one issue in particular..

Why is there no youtube icon and why can i get youtube to play?

This should be the simplest of tasks shouldnt it?

I my galaxys i have to say that the you tube app is amazing, quality really good and really fast and easy to use.

dont tell me the latest 'flag ship' phone dosent play youtube lol!


advice and help please.

hey dude,

you can download a youtube app from marketplace.

but it only redirects you to the mobile version of youtube..

so many features missing from WP7...I might switch and get WP7 next year..? b

After reading everything about these phones looks like I might wait a while aswell. My main issue is expandable memory........whats 8gig today?

i'm not sure what people moan about missing features etc....
The phone, the OS is great, its all about keeping it simple hence why the iphone is so popular. I honestly like the new windows os, its very very easy to use. Well done MS.

YouTube works ok and then the recent videos are available via the Zune interface.

just downloaded the you yube app and its very basic compared to the android one.

regarding missing apps i think nowadays people just exspect the basics to be on the phone like facebook, youtube and twitter etc.
