Pandora and Stock ROM Issue

Greetings.

I'm currently experiencing an issue while trying to run Pandora on my Omnia 2. The Pandora application seems to freeze at about 33%. I suspect a low memory issue as my program space is only in the mid 50s MB, but I'm really not sure. I've tried running on the built-in Windows Internet Explore and Opera Mobile 10 - both fail in the same fashion.

Does anyone have a suggestion on how I might remedy this issue? If a custom ROM is in order, can anyone recommend a ROM that seems pretty stable?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I would recommend a custom rom before anything. Regardless of you wanting to run pandora or not, the stock rom just puts WAY too many limitation on your kickass phone. There is so much potential lost when using the stock rom.

Anyway if you want to use pandora, have you tried slacker radio? There is a cab that works great. Also you could try nanogroove, but that isn't a custom radio program, its a find-a-song-and-play-it program.

I would recommend Ninja's roms for 6.5 and any of my DG21 roms for 6.5.5

Its really just personal preference. Also have you tried uzard? Its a little buggy as it is still beta, but is a VERY fast browser...

Thanks very much for your replies. I just downloaded and installed Slacker Radio. I'm quite pleased with its functionality. Uzart also looks very good too.

I'm definitely going to try a few of the custom ROMs. I previously had a HTC Wizard, and there was many great custom ROMs available for it. It's good to see that the Omnia 2 is getting the same kind of support.

Thanks again.
