I'm using the MoDaCo Custom ROM r4 from the kitchen.
I can't get Busybox to install. Or to make any modifications to files in /system to stick after reboot.
I'm guessing the NAND is still locked.

Any ideas on how to unlock NAND?

SOLVED:
I rebooted into ClockWork recovery to edit the files inside the /system folder.

Apparently all HTC systems are S-ON i.e. key areas are secured/protected against any changes while android is running.

So even though I was remounting with write permissions, no changes I made actually took effect on the physical files.
