The default one works fine, but I am looking for some other good ones to try out.

I tried RockPlayer, but it crashes on both software and hardware decoding mode.

Any good recommendations are welcomed.

TTPod, with live lyrics support during music playback, and once the lyrics are download to the cache, it will autorun the lyrics next time you play the song!

yes TTPod... the default android player i can´t use because it doesn´t find any music because it only search in my sdcard partition

i installed android from here... froyo bundle and how to install (updated)

Areyou using windows version or ubuntu installation version? Did you try his updates on v2 (My Storage Fix)? I bet that should be able to fix the problem of reading contents on your My Storage.

FYI, I placed all my music on SD card, so it doesn't really makes big difference to me. Probably you should try and transfer all your music to SD card.

I'm using ubuntu version. With my storage fix.

I'm able to play all the music files one by one from my 8 gb storage but TTPod only search 7 folders (storage/music /artist /album) from the 20 that I have! So it isn't a problem of access its a problem of TTPod to search in a específicos folder

My sd card it's only 2 gb that's why I'm asking..

I have not tried TTPod, but I have similar problems with other players

for me the solution is:

in the file /init.rc

change line:

mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk0p5 /storage

with:

mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk0p5 /storage iocharset=utf8

is it possible that it doesn´t exist that line??

in the command

# We chown/ chmod /data again so because mount is run as root + defaults no suid nodev

# mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p2 /system/sd

# mount vfat /dev/block/mmcblk0p5 /sdcard

there isnt any line with storage... could it be??
