Hi friends,

   I would like to know if the project for installing and having a  version of android OS running in Omnia 2 i8000 devices has finished. Also, I would like to know if the software runs thoroughly and properly in this mobile. I had found some links related to the topic but those links are too old. I would like to know if some body can help me for doing it. Is Android much better than Windows Mobile 6.5? I'm new using smartphones but I like to learn a lot about tech issues.

The project is currently on beta stage but the devs are working very hard and it has improved a LOT since the beginning
The current version of Android runs pretty good on our Omnia II and the next will be even better
And they just announced that the new beta is coming soon so stay tuned
