I did what someone suggested and did a quick reboot and then reboot normally for link2sd and it loses the link every time the phone is turned off and on again. Ideas?

Serious issues brah.

My phone, it makes no sound.

No alarm, no notification, no ringtone. Not even music!

I am going to try and play some music out louad on an older version to see if it is my phone or the rom.

Any ideas what it could be?...no headphones plugged in, sound is not on mute, checked the profiles.....

I am kind of worrying now.

Edit,

Got college today. So cannot do hardcore testing (rom replacement) until afterwards, after three o'clock.

But, if it helps:

I have had this issue for a while now. Says it has no ringtone, I try to preview one, it plays nothing.
with this new rom, it plays nothing at all unless your headphones are plugged in, then the music plays...

If anyone else has this issue, I'd love to know.

Edit again:
Okay, tried an older rom. Nope. Nothing is working.

Trying Dalvik cache and fixing permissions. If all else fails, I'll call someone and see if it is the speakers.

Is there a `11link2sd` file in system/etc/init.d you need that file as it tells your phone to mount the partition on boot.?

Hiya, not having such a problem with Link2SD, not sure how it would affect that as they're not part of anything moving (I doubt anyway). Still, what SD card do you have? Are you using the menu via holding down power button?
Thanks for your answer.
I am not using the menu via holding down the power button as it doesn't offer all the sound settings I use.
I have attached a Photo of the menu I am talking about.
SD-Card: microSDHC (4) 8GB  C08G Japan
---------
Can I just switch from s2e to link2sd without any major changes?
Attached File  DSC01438.JPG   65.4K   10 downloads
---------
Edit:
I have just tested the speed using SDTools.
Reading: 30,8MB/s
Writing: 6,4MB/s

The new build seems smooth enough however the NatWest banking app is no longer compatible, it was fine with the 31/05 build. So what's changed and how can the be remedied? I'm quite happy to change things (even with my limited knowledge) but could do with a couple of pointers.

Hello everyone,

First of all thanks to the developer for this wonderful ROM. I got my skate 2 months ago and i am complete noob to flash ROM.

However i follow the instruction mentioned and complete the flashing this ROM. But the wi-fi is not working for me with this ROM. When I turn on the wi-fi and scan the network, i am not able to get any network while wifi network is still there.

I followed the below steps in CWM:
1) format sytem
2) flash rom
3) format data
4) reboot
5) flash gapps
6) reboot

I really like this ROM but wifi is very important for me as i always use internet from wifi in skate. Please help me.

Hi, wifi should work perfectly fine, I'd suggest just trying to reflash the rom using the same steps you did before but also clear Cache and wipe Dalvik Cache (in advanced menu if I remember right). These can be done at same time a formatting the system.
Try that and see how you get on.

Currently Running: ColdFusionX 2 - Jelly Bean (16/07/12 build) Alt: Mokee v1.10

Thanks for quick answer. I re-installed the ICS Rom and i perform wipe cache and delvic cache. During the installation, There is error/warning like
"Not enough space for extras. Skipping...
Install from sdcard complete."

This doesn't seem like normal. I am using 200 mb for system partition. After this installation, there is same problem with wifi. Anyone else has same problem?

Yeah I had that, Tilal confirmed extras are only things that are probably not needed, video editor app etc. I believe 210mb is needed for the extras in this build, personally don't want them anyway so left it. Hmm, wifi issue is a strange one, don't think its come up before, not sure what to suggest myself.

I also have some strange behaviour, when I get notification of updates for some of my apps, I download the update and when trying to install I get warning about insufficient space. I have like 120 mb free, using Link2sd without any problems until now. I even tried to uninstall previous version of the app and the redownload and install and the same issue arise..

I had this same problem, clear app cache, reboot and it should let you download and install from market. :)
