I gave your build a go... I see you fell into the same trap as I did, the colors are not right...

would this be an easy port to the crescent? just that the volume and power buttons on it are feeble and after only 2 or 3 months of use my volume buttons are being depressed quite a bit and power button is now completely flush is not a bit recessed, this would be a life saver

You can't port it. You have to compile it from source.
Ever wondered how to Port ROMs from one Phone to another? Well it isn't that easy if you do it manually. But, luckily, there is a simple tool, which makes it easy for you to port ROMs. Curious?

I have ported it to the Blade2, however the usual problems with the kernel source prevent the touchscreen from working with the SF2, but if you want to test it out:

still WIP

TWRP v.2.1.8 (blue version) fails making a Backup. It stopped after system section and restarted itself. Doesn't make the backup of the other sections (cache, recovery,data...)
Install works fine. Mount USB works fine.

Yeah it doesn't work for doing full backups. I'm working with the twrp devs though to fix this problem asap.

It seems there is some problems with TWRP when it comes to backups and sd-ext, One fix for this is to go to settings and set it to use rm -rf over formatting (That fixes the formatting problems. As for backing up? I have no idea yet but I'll have a go at fixing it.

For the backup, you can do separate backups, and then put them in the same folder manually, then you cant batch restore
Not so good, but not so bad...
