Guest Ipecac9 Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 Am I the only one having problems with mounting USB storage?
Guest rangeoshun Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 Yes, but I had this problem with cwm5xxx too. But still YES..
Guest unomesmo Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 OK here's my two cents....only for windows... I'm sure everybody remembers the cringe worthy moments when we were all newbies and decided to flash Paul's clockwork mod. Well this does the exact same thing, just click install-recovery-windows.bat and you (should) be done http://db.tt/dhOzqX6m Is it the same than the zip flashable with recovery of your previous post?
Guest razzmataz1478 Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 Is it the same than the zip flashable with recovery of your previous post? This is the same as how you installed cwm4 on a windows computer
Guest Gagas1 Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 Has anyone managed to do a full nand backup including sd-ext.
Guest eddev Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 Am I the only one having problems with mounting USB storage? Yes, I seem to be having an issue mounting USB, i.e. it doesn't seem to do anything! I haven't had chance to have a full check into it though.
Guest stiefanu Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 How can the brightness be increased in this recovery? When i'm outdoor i can't see anything..
Guest Anthony1989 Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 How can I revert to cwm without using a PC please?
Guest Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 How can I revert to cwm without using a PC please? Flash this. Its tilals recovery. enter recovery by power on followed by home + volume up. Or put your recovery of choice in the zip with 7zip.recovery-clockwork-5.5.0.4-skate-update_signed.zip
Guest Ipecac9 Posted May 9, 2012 Report Posted May 9, 2012 Will update with fix for USB mounting. Terrific! :D

Guest gacama Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 Can't format sd ext with this recovery, shows sucessfull but don't format
Guest m4te Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 (edited) Whats the problem with clockwork to use an alternative? If its not broken, dont fix it (as for me). Edited May 10, 2012 by m4te
Guest Frankish Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 The touch recovery requires no hardware keys to use. Is more noob friendly. Is themeable. Its not fixing something that's broken its improving on an already great idea.
Guest unomesmo Posted May 10, 2012 Report Posted May 10, 2012 Will update with fix for USB mounting. I hope soon!
Guest Sebastian404 Posted May 12, 2012 Report Posted May 12, 2012 I gave your build a go... I see you fell into the same trap as I did, the colors are not right... check out : https://github.com/sebastian404/Team-Win-Recovery-Project/commit/87436a8baae73d7d2f32e5cb31c88d656591b479 I've my fix pushed upstream, hopefully it will be accepted soon.
Guest domenico lamberti Posted May 12, 2012 Report Posted May 12, 2012 would this be an easy port to the crescent? just that the volume and power buttons on it are feeble and after only 2 or 3 months of use my volume buttons are being depressed quite a bit and power button is now completely flush is not a bit recessed, this would be a life saver
Guest XMasterNinni Posted May 12, 2012 Report Posted May 12, 2012 You can't port it. You have to compile it from source.
Guest Sebastian404 Posted May 13, 2012 Report Posted May 13, 2012 would this be an easy port to the crescent? just that the volume and power buttons on it are feeble and after only 2 or 3 months of use my volume buttons are being depressed quite a bit and power button is now completely flush is not a bit recessed, this would be a life saver I have ported it to the Blade2, however the usual problems with the kernel source prevent the touchscreen from working with the SF2, but if you want to test it out: http://android.podtwo.com/beta/ still WIP
Guest domenico lamberti Posted May 18, 2012 Report Posted May 18, 2012 the guy who posted a flashable zip file ( i cant remember your name) do you flash it through CWM?
Guest nathanmarck Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 (edited) Here is an updated version of the recovery tilal uploaded. USB mounting is working and the colours are correct. Note: It may be flipped for some people, reply here if you have a flipped version. http://www.mediafire.com/?t5bwbm4i9rc7srk Edited June 25, 2012 by nathanmarck
