Hi Frenkie, great work!
I have a Note2 but the satisfaction to see android running well in my loved i8000 is great.

I suggest to modify the s3c-keypad.kl file located in /SYSTEM/USR/KEYLAYOUT/ to resemble actual android phone key layout:

key 158 CAMERA
key 116 ENDCALL WAKE_DROPPED
key 102 HOME
key 231 CALL
key 217 MENU
key 115 VOLUME_UP
key 114 VOLUME_DOWN
key 26 BACK WAKE_DROPPED

Because your secend partition was too small, it must larger than 1249MB.
You can check it and have a try!

i have just simply change it to 3gb
it is not working even for logical or primary
ext3 /ext4

Hi guys!!

Excelent work! I have installed v8 on my B7610 and looks great!!, much better than beta2 from MODACO.

Two questions:

1.- It doesn't recognize the buttons of my B7610, wich is the best keyboard ly? I rename querty to s3c-keypad.kl, file located in /SYSTEM/USR/KEYLAYOUT/ but it doesn't work. On beta2 keyboard works fine.

2.- I also have no line, can you explain more detailed instructions?:

1) Reinstall without the SIM

2) Install zImage inside FrenkieDroid_v8.zip

3) Reboot after installation, before operating with telephone.
