ah i was asking about this, have you checked your proximity sensor with e.g. Z-Devicetest ?

took it into vodafone shop and there was no way to check proximity sensor,staff couldnt fathom it out smiff2,they contacted their tech team and said they would be in touch,that was 3 weeks ago

Please download the update then find it on your SD card and upload it somewhere eg solidfiles.com

Please download the OTA update, but don't install until you have found the downloaded files on your SD and uploaded them to rapidshare!

They said they don't see the issues people reported in the new build. Not that they hadn't seen them in B936 so lets reserve judgement.
Don't hold out much hope though but will certainly test it out.

It should be entertaining, either way. I suspect the Vodafone "tech team" tests consisted of checking that the factory reset option is still available in the settings and then giving it the all clear.

After all, it is much easier for them to publish correct ICS, now that CM9 is out. It just took them few days to repack it to stock.

Just grabbed the UPDATE.ZIP from the OTA service and put it up on http://wikisend.com/...7796/update.zip for downloads. Let us know exactly what the patch contains please :-)
