Hi,

I am looking for a waterproof phone holder for my Bike, that will fit my G300. I have had a look on eBay and Amazon and I can only find one that is waterproof and that costs £26!

I was wondering if anybody uses one which is any good, and where they got it from. (however it has to be waterproof)

Thanks for any recommendations

George :)

I use a mount and soft case from Ultimate Addons for cycling. It works really well. There are cheaper options but it was a present from someone. Its very secure on the bike and you can use the touch screen through the case. Not had to try it in a downpour but it should be up to the job. I like the actual mount as its quite low profile so doesn't stick out high about the handle bars.

I got them direct from the Ultimate Addons website but I can't seem to find that now, unless they are now part of "buybits".

Only real downside (apart from cost) is that it can be difficult to see the screen in daylight because of reflections from the case.

Funny enough my mount just landed today it was bought for ZTE blade but expands to fit my 300 also and its very secure I have placed the phone (g300) and shook it like crazy and it stayed put.

Not waterproof obviously but if I place my phone in my waterproof pouch the it should work. Pouch and mouth will come in around £8.

Very happy with it. J

Thanks! I'll have a look at that, Also, when you say waterproof pouch, do you mean something like this: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item416524b396

A pic of the mount attached to my bike. J

Thanks for this too :)

I've been looking for a holder so I can attach my bike to my cycle handlebars and would appreciate some feedback please.

Here's a couple of links of products I have found:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-UNIVER...839514&afsrc=1

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Jazooli-Cycl.../dp/B00DJJGE1S

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Roswheel-B...712401&afsrc=1

Thank you

Richard

Thanks for the suggestions,

Just a quick tip for anyone buying a phone holder

Please make sure you check the dimensions! You do not want it to not fit or for it to fall out as it is too big for it!

The G300 Dimensions are:

Height: 12.5 cm / 4.82 inches

Width: 6.3 cm / 2.48 inches

Depth/Thickness: 1.05cm / 0.41 inches

After only having mine a few days I would definitely buy one that mounts on the cycle frame like those in the previous link. My son thought he was the downhill king and flew straight over the handle bars . The result smashed my mount to bits. Lucky he's o.k.

Mount isn't !

Couldn't imagine any handle bar mount surviving unless made of metal. A frame mounted one would of probably been o.k.

Buy once and buy right. J
