Guest soulhand Posted November 21, 2013 Report Share Posted November 21, 2013 I downloaded this, copied the UPDATE.app according to the instructions, but the actual upgrade consistently fails - spends a minute or two saying unpacking, then Upgrade Failed. What am I doing wrong? (I also can't backup when it suggests I should, I always get failed there too. Although GoBackup has no problems. Guest TinaEire Posted November 26, 2013 Report Share Posted November 26, 2013 (edited) The only official update.app from Huawei I came across was the B175: http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/technicaIndex.do?method=gotoProductSupport&productId=4178 The "trick" was to copy the UPDATE.app into the root directory and into the folder dload on the sd card :excl: .
