I have managed to get to the final step when I need to choose the zip file from SD-card.

I have choose Wipe from the recovery screen but what should I choose to get the zip file from SD card ??

- Wipe data/factory reset

- Wipe cache

- Wipe Dalvik-cache

- Wipe SD:ext partition

- Wipe battery stats

- Wipe rotate settings

These are the options and I have my goldcard in so I don't want to wipe that one ;-) because I was thinking about the 4:th choice....

Hi Paul,

Do you know if it'll work with 1.32.163.1?

Thanks a lot for sharing with us.

I have the same rom and it doesn't seems to work. So if you can test it to know if it's a goldcard problem it will help us :-).

Merci.

Full root?

P

Yes - I thought there are still no write permissions to the system partition.

Btw. Procedure works fine, easy and really fast!

You had to push the "volume down" button.. Then you get back to the upper menu where you can choose update from sd card.

:-) Should I wipe the data (first choice) in the wipe menu and the go to the recovery menu and choose "Flash zip from sdcard" ?

I don't want to loose the rooting ... I have had the same problem ass all others before and now it's soooo close :-) and I just need some guidance with these last menus

You should make:

- a wipe data/factory reset

- "Volume down"

- Update/flash zip from sdcard

- "rootupdate.zip"

(Don't know the exact words anymore but I think you should find it)

Step one is stuck at "writing zip' ...".

It's been like that for more than half an hour.

I'm on windows 7 and my firmware is 1.32 with boot 0.43.0001

Should I kill it?

EDIT: I killed it.

What coulp possibly cause that to happen?
