I migrated to OCK ultra lite rom. Now I have the default WM dialer without the unused omnia lite apps wasting space from my device (and less/none bugs)

Then my vote is to WM 6.5.x

Some screens:

Titanium plugins installed by myself.

Do you have the problem with options at dialer?

No, I have no problems with dialer options, no problems to send sms using contacts ("/ first name, last name" bug).

But remember, it's a very lite rom. most of the customization must be done by yourself.

Is possible to disable these problems from OCK premium/gtx? Yes, is possible (disabling the dialer skin and omnia lite phonebook), but in this casa you will have some memory space being used by app you don't need. This is why I prefer the ultralite one.

I still have all cabs used to making this ultralite rom being usable. For now, I dont have bugs/issues/glitches.... But I have had some work to configure it, installing and uninstalling cabs, clean and check the registry many times, copying/editing config files. But now it's perfect to me (I dont do video calls). I can use it landscape and portrait in all programs and in home without problems.

I am extremely "detail oriented" , but the "hard" work is already done by OCK.

So, can you tell me the applications that you have installed? Also, I would like to tell me what is the first, the second, the third application that you have installed..

Thanks in advance, bro...

Hum... I'll post a list when I arrive home. But you can start (without order):

Flashing the OCK's ultra lite rom,

Installing google maps mobile

Livven themes - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=578468 (96DPI)

Installing Office Mobile http://www.mediafire.com/?1jrkfhgnjvz

Finger keyboard 2.1 (and sip change to set FKeyboard as default) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=501122

Finger Keyboard themes - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=543463

Nitrogen Player - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3914093

Samsung calendar - see omnia lite apps thread (but I prefer Thumb Cal [a paid app])

Adobe reader LE - I have the cab, but not a link

Opera mini 5 - from opera site

TCPMP Master Codec 5 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=642755

CSMI (to change start menu icons and use high-res ones) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=589459

[the missing icons I get from Oxygen icon theme from KDE - you can get any png greater than 64x64)

Total Commander - http://tcce.s3.amazonaws.com/ce3/tcmdpocketarm.cab

Livven lockscreen theme - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=667915

[install only GTX theme, otherwise will broke your home screen]

Titanium plugins - to config the Home screen [i'll post cabs/links when I arrive home, there are specific cabs for omnia]

Chome editor - To configure Titanium plugin order - Analog clock for ex must be the first for ex

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=506951

CAnalog clock

FavPeople

Titanium notifications

CLauncher

I edited the soft key from Analog clog pag2, because it doesn't open due a wrong path. I configured it to restart Analog clock slideshows, because it stops in certain circumstances.

The CSMI to change start menu icons is easy to use, but start menu folder under windows should match with the registry values. It should be automatic, but some apps does wrong with registry. But don't worry about that.

I don't remember which application does that, but I lost all image file association (bmp, jpg, gif,png)... was not difficult to restore using total commander and associate them with the default windows pictures/videos app (pimg.exe %1).

And remember.... it's just a cellphone :D

You can't - greek fellow - ask from someone to tell you "what's the best" for YOUR use, because every single one of the users has DIFFERENT values, different use of his phone.

If you're NOT accept the fact that you MUST flash and test many-many roms to find the best FOR YOUR USE, you'll never find a decent rom!

And in the end of your "search", you'll understand that the BEST rom for you, is the one you'll "COOK" YOURSELF!

If you want the PERFECT rom for you (6.1 or 6.5, no matter), you may have to deside if you should start learn how to "cook"... I don't really care to learn and certainly I don't have time to spend, to learn how to "cook" myself. After so-so many-many flash I did (I think I lost the count, after the... 200th!), I found my best 6.5 build for me: it's the 23563. I found it through "JN Foundation G-Carbon v2 M2Dv2", I liked it so much, but I found it also "heavy" from the many of the apps included. Then, I found OCK's 23563 "UltraLite" rom (the same, but "UltraLite") and I... FINALY... stopped searching/looking for any other rom!...

(From 6.1s, there are many good roms, from many different GREAT "chefs", like Khuanchai, Shokka9, Ryrzy, t2008, Sector, QBus and many others.)

You MUST search and find by yourself, mate. I took so-so many people opinions and I flashed COUNTLESS roms in my i900... I never was totaly happy, except of "JN Foundation" roms - but also NOT completely 100% happy. But, I found the BUILD I LIKE (23563) and I found a very "clean" rom from this build and I made it as best as I like to make it...

I think this topic could be merged with the ock's one or something like that... We are talking about his rom....

Not really. Some people saying "try OCK's rom"; others may give a different suggestion.

hi guys.. im also looking for best rom..

i already use ock' alphaUI rom.. i dont like the UI and messaging quite slow

then use ock premium rom.. same reason i didnt like alphaUI also.. messaging quite slow..

then flash to ock light rom.. but same also... messaging quite slow also..

then i fed up already... flash back to original rom then install spb mobile shell

with original rom, messaging quite fast, but the only main problem is.. lack of space in storage. now only left with 25MB.

now im looking for winmo 6.1 rom.... cos 6.1 more faster in messaging

can somebody suggest me any good winmo6.1 rom?

i need these features

- keyboard with landscape and potrait with vibration feedback( EZinput would do)

- opera mobile 9.5 or 10( i can install these later)

well.. any clean winmo6.1 would be good since i gonna install spb mobile shell... thanks bro..

and if i didnt find these rom.. then i should do it myself then..
