that weather issue, have u tried to uninstall activesync from ur PC then reinstall it again? sometimes it can be the cause.

looks like u have an Philpipine CSC there, if im not mistaken. there are 2 ways you can try.

1. flash JF5's eboot, PDA and phone part only without CSC, this way, you might be able to keep your network,sms-mms settings intact. but i can not 100% guarantee you.

2. you can write down all the network, sms-mms settings, then flash with all 4 parts, for CSC, choose EUJF5 for UK, it's not branded. after flashing, u can manually setup network settings.

let me know if you got it working. :D

allow me to answer this lancez

fam csc is I think singapore csc. There are no csc for philippines. By default I have same csc as before.

anyway @ Hamstaro,

you can choose XEU. (UK). I always use that CSC and network settings is automatically detected anyway. (globe or smart) Dont know about Sun. or you can erase CSC but as from my experience, when I erase CSC, the message for network settings always appear everytime I restart my O2.

hope it helps

;)

JF5_v.T WM6.5

per some members request,

this is a ROM which is exactly the same as master Twu2's previous ones, the only change is the battery indicator which i love.

based on latest leaked i8000NXXJF5 ROM from kingmobi.net (thanks Twu2 for the link), i call it version T =Twu2

use JE2's cabs for additional apps.

alright, guys. i got master Twu2's permission just now. here we go

JE5_v.T download link

Rapidshare mirror, thanks to speedfrog

free storage <,>,= 330mb

free RAM <,>,= 96mb

pp = 15mb

Thanks!!!! :D

This is the fatest rom i've used.

:(

first, i want to thank u guys for entertaining my concern with our beloved phone.... ^^

of all the person i asked about this from different forum i visited...you two guys only answered me directly...

the rest says..."go to this link"...^^

thanks Lancez and night.fox

well...in my case...

is it ok to use the 4 parts of JF5???

including eboot file...because i want to upgrade from wm6.1(my current os) to wm6.5...

some says the only thing that can brick our phone is the eboot file...

and that scares me... :P

can u say that flashing with all these files

pda: I8000NXXJF5

csc: I8000NXXJF4

phone: I8000XXJF1

eboot: I8000NXXJF5

and using XEU. (UK) file for csc...

anyway i dont use SUN...only globe and smart...

would give 100% success???

:D ...im really scared doing this because of risk on bricking my phone...

please assure me that this will work 100%...

and THINK POSITIVE!!! ;)

thank you guys...i really appreciated your help...

more power to you guys...^^
