[JB] [4.1.2] CyanogenMod 10.0 [ROM]

The SD Card already gets used by android and some apps. Others can be partially moved to sd by going into 'manage apps'. I dont think CM9 ever automatically moved apps to SD card. Happy to be wrong :)

I flashed my nandroid backup of CM9 R5 and under storage there is a Storage Configuration menu. This has a check box (unchecked by default) to enable Internal Storage for apps and media. If you check it it says "Using expanded internal storage for apps and media".

So by default (unchecked) it says its using SD Card for apps and media but I assumed it meant the external sd card but maybe it means the internal sd card (which is different to the Internal Storage isn't it?). Anyway this menu is'nt available in CM10 R1 or R2 but like I said I don't know if it is deliberate.

Installing this on a friend's device, but I just have one problem - the gapps zip seems to be bad, and when I try to install it fails. Have tried wiping and reinstalling but no luck. Anyone else had this problem or any possible fixes? Thanks in advance

i had this problem too and i noticed when the copying finishes i removed the usb plug straight away but then the next time i had to go down and left it in there for 5 mins and when i came back it worked and since then i leave the copying 5 mins after it is finished then i unplug which seems to work you give it a try too hope i helped :)

Big problem here.

Yesterday all my files (Music, Photos, Videos, Games, etc) disappeared from the micro sd card. I connect the smartphone via usb to my laptop nothing appears as well. But if I remove the microsd card and put it on my laptops sdcard reader all files are there.

Another thing is that the gps is always on the task bar, searching location. I can't remove it, even by terminating it on the settings and turning gps location off.

PS: I'm using a clean install of R2.

Yes, but if you want your apk, you must backup with something, make full wipe and then instal CM9.

Was your last official update b940?

You have to flash the ril that matches your last official update.

Honestly I have no idea, it was so long ago. How would I figure that out?

Actually I think i just figured out the way I got onto ICS was with a file Android 4.0,V100R001C17B926 so I've just grabbed the stock B926 and I'm flashing that.

Hey Daz or Fagulhas, can you try add ro.sf.compbypass=0 and change mdp to c2d:

ro.sf.compbypass.enable=0

debug.composition.type=c2d

in the build.prop? Got the idea from Alan here. http://mjanja.co.ke/...mm-adreno-gpus/ I had to use disable HW overlays to get some apps like explosm and xkcd browser to work, but with those two options set in build.prop, they seem to work without needing to set that option in developer settings. Also, can you change
wifi.supplicant.scan.interval=15
to at least 60. I have used 240 in the past with no ill effects. It just changes how often wifi scans when it is out of range of a known wifi signal. Saves a bit of battery to have it set to at least 60.

For those people who want one more time use Radio FM in ROM 10.0 with JB 4.1.2 here is app for you!

Here is direct link to free Radio Spirit FM app http://d-h.st/3Rf

In menu option Menu-> Settings-> Audio-> Method choose msm7x30. Works automatic and you don't need to restart Spirit.

Many thanks to programmer Mike Reid for building this app and supported Huawei G300 device.

I have try to add the two line in build.prop but some apps still need disable HW overlays. :(
