after you have install all this mentioned above... try running android see if it works or not... first boot will take about 1minute or so.

I think, you have a wrong mounted in starup.txt, write corect number of root partition mmcblk?p? in line

Set CMDLINE "rootdelay=2 root=/dev/mmcblk1p2 init=/init"

if you have FROYO in SDCARD this maybe mmcblk1p2 or mmcblk1p3...5

if you have FROYO in My Storage this maybe mmcblk0p2 or mmcblk0p3...6, i have mmcblk0p6, when i make change to mmcblk0p5, i stoped in this page like you show.

it's not basic kernel panic

i have froyo in sdcard and mmcblk1p2 is right

same message??

Yes I think. But I'm using GT-i8000, not the Korean one.

During first run of Froyo beta there isn't this issue. After that I reinstall whole thing again and this issue happens...any suggestion?

Remove partitions from SD and format it under WM.

Awesome news! :)

Too bad my SD is only 1gb..

Is there any chance of a 512mb version?

Or is there any way to change beta3 from 1024mb to 512mb?

Thanks

using default SD card install

1st try: with stu 2d/3d files, couldn't get to boot logo at all, suspend response errors loop

2nd try: overwrite the 2d/3d drivers from xda, same suspend response error

3rd try: install again from scratch, android boot logo for 2 sec, then all white dots freezing, waited for 15 minutes, gave up

4th try: do nothing, just restart haret again, android boot logo for 10sec, then blank screen for 15 minutes, gave up

:)

well, what a great and extremely stable beta :) thanks to the devs, I love it so far!

Just one question: Is it just my feeling or is the new Froyo slightly laggier than 2.1? i don´t mean Winmo-laggy, but just slightly less responsive than 2.1, e.g. in the contact list?

Already did it for 3 to 4 times.

i think you should install froyo with my storage to be logical partition and sdcard to be main partition,it works well for me
