Guest MoRFLeZ Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 @Jacoch would you update http://smartphone.MoDaCo.com/viewtopic.php?t=7065>Task Manager for E100? Ummm that's just what he did - this version works with every SPV!
Guest jacoch Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Brillaint work as always Jacoch. Are you planning on doing a similar upgrade for SmartExplorer :) :D Cheers Upgrade of Smart Explorer is on the run. We already have an alpha running, but have some troubles with bluetooth. It seems that the authenticate callback function has not been implemented by HTC. Then, it's not possible to send a file if the remote device ask for authentication. We are actually investigating. We should also receive the beta of the forthcoming E200 update. We hope this issue has been solved by HTC. Don't worry. As soon as an update is available, it will be posted here  We hope within next week.
Guest awesterink Posted January 9, 2004 Report Posted January 9, 2004 Great! SmartExplorer is my favorite explorer program for Smartphone. The only thing I can't get used to is the structure of the menus under the two soft buttons. I seems to be modeled after regular Windows programs, with a seperate File and Edit menu. But the problem with that is that you have to stick your miscellaneous functions somewhere, and that "pollutes" the logic of the menus. E.g. normally you would not expect to find Favorites, View and About under the Edit menu. To me, for Smartphone applications it would be more intuitive to have ALL file related operations under one button called File (selection, cut copy paste, rename, delete, open, new, zip, send, properties, find), and all other functions under a separate button called e.g. View (Favorites, View, About, Options). But that is just ONE opinion...GREAT program either way :-) BTW there seems to be an error with checkboxes...when you first select an item using checkboxes, then unselect it, the checkbox disappears.
