HELP ME! My Smart Amazing Phone Wont boot

i just got a hold of a 1 month used

Smart Amazing Phone. i downloaded the

new update version (ver 1.7) from

smart and tried to install it on my

SAP.

when the installation is running, the

USB (active hotsync) disconnected. in

the process of installation, my SAP

was already in the 3 color CANARY

screen, i waited and waited for

something to happened but nothing did.

i took the phone from the USB

connection and tried to turn it off

but it didn't. so what i did is to

remove the battery. i then bring it

back and turn it on but all it do is

to go back to the bootloader screen

and to the CANARY MV screen. when i

put a MMC card, it states "CARD

FOUND" and if i press longer the

ACTION button it will go to the CANARY

DIAG v0.97 screen with 8 options. but

only #8 has some writing saying ERASE

IPSM.

ont the left or right options of the

Canary DIAG are some other options but

with no writings.

the only option with this writing is

from the main menu #8 which i have

pinted out as ERASE IPSM.

note:

*my SAP wont turn OFF any more and im

always going to the canary screen.

*the active sync wont connect with my

phone and

*when i connect via USB it is

recognized only by the PC if i press

the "ERASE ISPM" in the canary diag

menu and it is recognized under USB as

"UNKNOWN DEVICE"

what i got is

canary mv v.98

canary diag v0.97

SAP v 1.7

What should i do? i tried calling

bright point for some instruction on

how to remedy this but all they want

to say is to bring it there.

my phone has no more warranty for i

dont have the original receipt.

i need immediate remedy guys.

prob solved thanx for all those who PMd me. it was just a USB connection problem. if u encounter the same prob just plug it on the USB cable until the computer detect the HTC USB device if not try to turn ur SAP ON and Off till while connected to the USB and it will be detected. (active sync must be turned off) then when the PC connects, start the installation of the program.
