Guest ponxman
To all experts: Have you sent emails from your SAP? I can receive emails but cant send, I think it has something to do with the outgoing mail server. I'm with Skyinet.net * when i send emails - it come back with **SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR ERROR MSG>**
Guest BrAGoL
i can send email by using my company's outgoing mail server... if you can send mail via outlook, then you can too on your phone... if not, better call your isp provider... Guest Geeklord
hotpop.com is a great solution. I've tried to contact yahoo.com and msn.com about this and they refuse to give out their incoming and outgoing servers (for security reasons daw). I used to access my company's server, but I didn't want to view my work email all the time. So I signed up at hotpop and gave my new email only to friends. Now I can send and receive important (read "not work-related") email anytime, anywhere. the only draw back to the free hotpop account is the mail size limit. also, hotpop.com doesn't have an inbox on the web which you can view. you can and must delete your old on the site (not the phone) to free up disk/server space
Guest xtinc
SAP can be configured to use any pop3/smtp or imap mail server. Free pop mail providers exists so it is just a matter of choosing which one you prefer. One of the best free pop/imap mail server is myrealbox, it is just unfortunate that they stopped accepting new accounts. Hotmail and Yahoo are web mails unless you use a third party software you can’t sync you mails to the SAP mailbox. But of course you can always use wap/PIE or subscribe to the yahoo mail plus and the like which includes pop access.
