I'm selling my SPV, I've got a few questions:

How do I restore factory settings?

How do I remove all the data?

If I run upgrade 1.6, will it still be unlocked for other networks?

I can't find the manual, can somone remind me what it looks like!

TIA

Nigel

could do a hard reset this will app lock your phone but i think the network unlock will still work.

if you just run the update the same thing will happen!

Thanks for that, but having run the update, I've still got Contacts and Calendar events. How do I delete them?

Also, can someone tell me what the manual looks like!

Hey Nigel,

In case you've not found it yet, the manual has a black cover with the word 'guide' quite large in orange letters on the cover. It's about 150mm x 150mm and is fairly thick, having a quite a few pages.

Come to think of it -this is a description of the Orange badged SPV so it might not be the same for yours!

If you have already sold your phone, any chance of letting me know how much you got for it? I'm about to sell mine - planning on putting it up on eBay tonight and would be interested to know what to expect.

Cheers, Hoss.

You can download the SPV manual frrom the Orange website :)

I'd do a hard reset myself just to be totally sure of cleaning everything out.

Of course this is not mentioned in the manual but there are comprehensive instructions on this forum. Click on the words... hard reset
