I've searched the forums and found the odd example of individual keys failing, but the whole lot? I should maybe admit it happened to my SPV100 after using the phone in sleet and high wind, so moisture got in I guess. But giving it time to dry out, and trying with hair dryer and compressed air hasn't worked. Guest merrick Posted June 5, 2004 Report Share Posted June 5, 2004 Hi, this has just happened to me. All the front keys & joystick have stopped responding. The number keys & soft keys went yesterday so I hard reset the phone and all keys worked fine after, but today its all gone again inc the joystick so now I can't reset. I didn't get any water in the phone and i had assumed it wasn't a hardware fault seeing as a hard reset fixed it, how did you go about getting the keypad replaced? Cheers.
