Guest Will Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 is the e200 decertified via OTA? that is required for cleartype. can you check in the registry of the motorola to see if the reg change was made?
Guest icedream Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 could you add the led tweak, i don't know what reg entry is, but this will be cool
Guest ferret Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 I'd be grateful for Once installed, go to HKEY_Current_UserSoftwareMicrosoftVmail. Click Values. You'll see something called VoiceMailStr. Edit it to whatever you want (Voice Mail in your case, I've changed it to Wildfire). Click Done. With mine a duplicate entry appeared, leave it there, I've had there for about 11 months with no bad side effects.from http://smartphone.modaco.com/ftopic98635.h...html&highlight= and HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Microsoft Inbox SMS Text Click values, MaxDeletedMsgs (default 50) Change it to whatever, Hope this helps in the future from http://smartphone.modaco.com/ftopic94302.h...html&highlight= thanks

Guest kalantz Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 is the e200 decertified via http://smartphone.MoDaCo.com/viewtopic.php?t=22908>OTA? that is required for cleartype. can you check in the registry of the motorola to see if the reg change was made? The problem is in _setup.xml: The value should be "1" Regarding the MPx200 with Moto's ROM, it doesn't work even if I manually enter the string in operatornames Thanks, Costas
Guest Will Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 As far as I am aware! Speedmenu should be set at '0' disabling the animated sliding effect, setting at 1 will put them on (and make the menu drawing slower) Comments appreciated?? I cannot see why the moto rom will not allow operator name change, are you sure the MCCetc code is correct for your network (i only have old lists)
Guest markhammill Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 The operator name change dosen't work on my mpx either. It is running the generic rom.

I think you are right, but which is the reg key for the cleartype in _setup.xml?
Guest icedream Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 could you add the owner information ? HKCUControlPanelOwner
Guest kalantz Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 BTW, could you develop a complete setup page with GPRS / MMS / E-mail settings, Profiles, Owner Information, tweaks etc?
Guest Norky Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 How about the jmms homescreen fix? It's a bit tricky doing it with a reg edit prog.
Guest midnight Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 eventually there will be practically every tweak you can think of, i'm doing a complete list over the weekend :)
Guest spvlover Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 How about Orange Swizerland? Code 22803 Great idea your site;-) Thanx and keep it up;-) Posted from my e200!

Guest kalantz Posted February 27, 2004 Report Posted February 27, 2004 In order to change operator name on MPx200 generic rom, I think (not 100% sure) you have to add the following under RIL which is missing: Thanks, Costas
Guest mark4130 Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 First of all, excellent job! My service provider is now Satan. Im probably doing something really stupid (its a regular thing!) but I cant ged rid of the vibrating menu tweak. I did it the first time I used the cabbage but now can tremove it when re-using cabbage... and I dont like it !! Thanks Mark
Guest Will Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 would you like a 'decabbage' page to remove tweaks? (this would screw up add remove program list a bit tho? Will
Guest Pulse Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 Do both 'speed tweaks' work on the E200? I've only seen the MPx mentioned.
Guest midnight Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 the mpx speed boost does work on the e200
Guest MPJ Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 CustomCABbage seems to be such a great idea, only wish I could make it work! I'm probably being really thick, but any chance of an idiots guide on what to do. I've had a go, but with no luck. I have a de cert original SPV and need to know such basics as where to save the CAB and then how to run it! Thanks
Guest mark4130 Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 would you like a 'decabbage' page to remove http://smartphone.MoDaCo.com/viewtopic.php?t=7695>Tweaks? (this would screw up add remove program list a bit tho? Will If it would screw things up I can quite happily put up with the vibrate, the simple fact I can change service provider at a whim pleases the child in me enough to put up with it. Cheers Mark
Guest Will Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 mpj surf the site on your phone, and it will do it all for you, or read the information on the front page! mark best thing is to uninstall the cabbage file, and then make a new one with just the operator name. Will
Guest Taoski Posted February 28, 2004 Report Posted February 28, 2004 You got to add more Favorites too. Ones for the best smartphone compatible sites would be best. News, sport, entertainment, search engines, forums etc etc etc...
