Ha! Tried [email protected] from my work address - "The destination system is is currently not accepting any messages". Or in other words "La la la la, I'm not listening".

... and yet I still got an acknowledgement e-mail straight back.

"...not allowed to estimate when the problem will be resolved"

Not even allowed to begin estimating? FFS, what a world off bullshit we live in.

Orange need to facilitate an ongoing programme of relocating their smallest digit from their rectal bumzone.

There is a big problem,,,,no surprise for orange there then, their server has been hit with lots of virus attahced to emails, i had three a day for two weeks, from people i'd never heard of, but had company email addresses.

forget ringing 439 from your phone (this was suggested by orange c/s) what they forgot to say was it was 50p a minute,,,,,,,,,do orange not communicate with each other

That's my mind put at rest enough, nothing to worry about now. Sounds like they've got everything well under control.

If anyone's tracking this, outgoing mail is working for me now.

Nice one :)

I've had an email with a 100k attachment sat in my outbox for nearly a week, I just tried sending it again, and it worked  (Although it took 2 attempts :? )

I never really have experienced problems with Orange Email.

I access it using Outlook Express.

Recently I've been receiveing spam and it's driving me CRAZY!!! It's to email addresses like "[email protected]" which is NOT my email address, and there are others too such as "[email protected]". Why am I getting spam that are supposed to be going to other people's email addresses?

Help me please!!!

Toyota, you need to ring Orange or email them from the website. I've never had spam in my Orange inbox.

I spoke to Orange yesterday and they "did not have any message on their screen that there were any problems with the e-mail service" went through e-mail settings on my phone then tried again, still stuck on conneting..... The chap I spoke to tried to access mine & his orange e-mail accounts through the web site on his pc and could not do so. Said he would speak to the e-mail department about it. I have tried this morning with my E200 and on the pc through the web site but still cannot access my e-mail. Obviously did not shout loud enough!! Will phone again Monday.

How much longer before they sort it :?:

I just tried again now, though I am beginning to think it's a more general thing as I can't send through my web domain accounts either. So that's 4 different accounts I can't send email through, but can receive!

Weird!!!
