BETA PLAYER, new player, BEST Player

I just used the Matrix trailer as a test from the makers website.

I was wondering what peoples benchmark was like? (file > benchmark).

I got the following on me good old trusty SPV.

Average Speed: 64.83%

Video Frames: 3635

Audio Samples: 3335616

Bench Time: 03:53:618

Bench Frame Rate: 15.56

Bench Sample Rate: 14278

Original Time: 02:31:448

Original Frame Rate: 24.00

Original Sample Rate: 22050

Has anyone tweaked the buffersize to get any better readings yet?

Update.

Just removed my http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=714>homescreen which was using the Analog Clock http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=714>plugin and i have managed to squeeze it up to 69.27% average speed and a Bench framerate of 16.63

oh... and PS - my backlight stays on all the time!

Wahoo!  I am off to re-encode those Simpsons episodes i have'nt watched yet.  :)

Here are the results of my Qtek 8080, I ran it 3 times (99.71%, 99.70%, 99.71%):

Gotta say this player is great. I know I asked this before, but if this could play MPEG as well...it would be perfect.

I ripped Spiderman for my son and he watches it in the car on trips. Never had a problem on my e200. Great Job. I look forward to future enhancements.

Woow, this player rocks!

I can encode DivX 5.1.1, bitrate set to 1500, sound at 128kbit, 44KHz, stereo and it plays SMOOTH :shock:

Benchmark shows 141% speed :)

P.S. My Smartphone is Mitac Mio 8390

Cool Player, playsVIDEO great but: i could not hear anything (got an 8390)

Tested:

MPEG Layer 3

Ogg Vorbis Mode 1

the ACM Codec doesn't work to codec damne

MPEG Layer III works. Make sure volume is up before you run pthe player. If still no sound, use UP to make it louder while playback :)

I found that if I change the sound quality, I have to reload the file.

I only tried this on one video though. Ymmv.

i compressed the avi file by using pocket divx encoder, here
