Now I can enjoy more playing with sound thanks to you roozbeh for your effort. Is it normal that when you pickup an item such as the health bonus, helmet and the likes the screen brighten?

Can anybody help Same thing happens to me too. But after I downloaded the last edited version dated 05/05/04 it's fix. Try downloading the mydoomce.exe again on the first page.

(not uploaded yet)

Guest xelios Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 Hi there...[updated]It is my port of doom..... i wish you like it.... fetures as i can recall and was not in that other version is.... -it supports sound now...still very buggy and slows the whole game -load/save is working... -works with any doom version(i dont know if the other one got this or not.... but this version for sure got it!) * for shoting # opening doors escape command....bringing menus power button(holding a while)....a faster screen.... voice button-map softkeys--strafing simply copy your wad files to where you put this.... Also if anybody got a custom made wad file....plz send that to me so i can see if i can make them work also.... the game speed is not that good becouse of sounds and also some things i wrongly changed :))...i might fix them soon as i recall what o have done :lol:) also as you know doom got lot of keys....tell me how 2 you like to use them and......what keys are really important...as i've got some idea for making all keys availble.... Guest roozbeh Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 well very great news! i simply :) doubled the game speed...i am now playing doom with sound at 12~16 fps!!! can you beleive this?! so i am thinking of adding music also.... althought it is still very buggy....display is upside down...and.... but at the worst case speed will be 1.5 times of previus ones!!
