Dial a ISP

I currently use Verizons built in email client on the i600 to check email, but this only works on their digital network. There are times when I am not on their digital network when I would also like to check my email. I am wondering, is it possible to set up a dial-up account to use when I am not in the digital network?

I already have the isp (obviousely) but am wondering how to set up the phone to dial it, also how would I tell the mail app to use the dial-up instead of the VZW one ?

Setting it up is pretty easy though I've tried 2 ISP's and neither will work very well.

Settings->Data Connections->Menu->Edit Connections->Dialup Connections->Menu->Add

Add in your ISP. Then go back to data connections and change Internet from Automatic to your new entry. That's it.

You could also assign your ISP to "Work Connection" leaving "Internet" at either Automatic or Express 2 Net. Then you would change between work and internet at the application (PIE or Inbox)
