check e-mail from phone

Uhm, I am not sure if this is related but I was able to set-up POP3 on the SPV but I suddenly ended up sending SMS with my email account as default. I cant seem to locate any way to cancel such a setting so I had to disable my POP access.

What, when you send an SMS, with a mobile number in the "To" field, it goes as an email? How does that work? If they arrive, isn't it cheaper to do it that way anyway?

Nah. When I send out an SMS, the message'll get stuck in Outbox for a looooooooong time. When I looked at it, it's "From" is displayed as my email address! Which means that'll I'll still have to click on "Send/Receive email".

hmmm......I'll have a poke around in the registry to try and find the relavent key. There's nothing you've changed, is there?

Sorry, but it seems there are too many potential keys, and not having the problem myself, it's hard for me to find which one it would be.

If I were you, I'd phone Orange, and perhaps they can send you a configurator or something to fix it.
