Cingular phones supposedly are unlocked (not that there are any Cingular MPX200)....Well I just need to fine a phone now... Guest PDAZealot Posted July 10, 2004 Report Share Posted July 10, 2004 Well, I don't know about all ATTws phones, but the three that I have purchased ARE SIM locked, and require an unlock code. If you have one that is not, good for you, but almost everyone else will need to purchase an unlock code. Be careful with Ebay unlock codes, as I have heard of a lot of scams in this area. AT&T phones are SIM locked but not application locked.
