I've removed the 2002 version. It's just not working at all. :?

Any volunteers for testing any further versions, please contact me by PM. It's incredibly difficult to assess whats going on with it because I don't have a phone to test on, but if anybody is keen to get the theme working then please let me know.

Well, everything seems to be ok except the icons in the rjshortcut plugin, which show on my e200, but not on my m8's e100!? I posted about it in the customisation forum, but haven't heard anything yet. If I don't soon, I'll send Remy J a PM, see if he can sort it. :wink:

Should be able to send you a test version pretty soon tho! :P

DrBlow, is the "Today's date" bit on the front screen done using RJTime?? If so, can it be made to have a space between the Day/Date and the Month/Year....it's no biggie, but it annoys the hell outa me!!! Also, can you explain what the Internet Time is - it's 14:40 BST now and the Internet time is @611........huh??

No m8 - thats all the RJhtml plugin. I know its kinda funny without a space. I'm sure you could edit the html page, if you have the plus only version of the plugin. I can't really distribute that as its a plus only benefit!

Internet time is a funny kind of "new" way to tell time without using time zones. Look it up on google, it's interesting! :P

What are you trying to translate? There's not much I can do about that really - the phones language selection should change everything. Tell me exactly what words you want to translate & where they are & I'll try to help.

ok,

1 : the date, like the translation for tne MSN homescreen.

2 : the link for the smart explorer, the link is not the same for the english and the french version.

3 : the web link for the news, i can read english news but i prefer the french news.

4: few words like : new sms, check mail, homescreen, add/remove, ...

i can help for the translation.

Im having the same problem with things on the home screen being misaligned, i've installed the plug-in suggested in this thread but nothing has changed. "No upcoming" is sat just higher that its intended spot and "operator" is also sat off it's mark. anyone got any other suggestions???? as really like this skin - top job

OK -

1) If you have the plus version of the html plugin, then you can edit the html, although I really don't know how to translate the text. I thought the html page created time/date from the phone itself, so if you have changed the language of the phone then I would have thougfht that would work. To be honest, you'd be better off sending a PM to midnight about that. But that all depends on you having the plus only version of the html plugin, coz the free one is encrypted so it cannot be edited, and I cannot distribute the stuff for the other version, as it is a plus only benefit!

2) The link for smartexplorer is just an icon!? I ';m not sure what you're talking about here as I can't see any text that refers to smartexplorer.

EDIT - hang on ... if you mean the actual name of the link for that icon, then look for this code ...

You can change the name of the links, again in the section that says action="StorageWindowsStart Menu... to reflect the name of the link in French. If you can't find the name of the link, use smartexplorer to open the start memu folder, it contains the .lnk files. 3) you can edit the web links inside the xml page. Juts change the links I have for your own. You'll also see the text which displays "news" on the homescreen, which you can translate.

Look for the code above. See where it says New SMS, just translate the part that says New SMS. You can do the same for any other things like this.

Em ... weird! :shock: So, the calendar plugin is showing above where it should be?? That means something above that isn't showing up. Which means that it must be the media player plugin, coz everything else is standard in an e200. You have installed the latest version of the media plugin, yeah??

The time is supposed to show. That requires the RJtime plugin. Have you installed that? If not, that might be whats throwing everything out of whack. The theme requires RJhtml, RJtime, Oxios tasks & media player plugins. If you have them all, try just uninstalling the theme, and all plugins. The reinstall the plugins first, then the theme again. Let me know if that doesn't work, OK! :wink:

I haven't the plus version but it's possible to translate the date like the msn homescreen. I will send a PM to midnight.

em... there is no reason at all for those changes not to work. all i can suggest is save the xml with a new name & try again. Posted from my SmartPhone!

Sometimes a reboot doesn't kick the home process' ass to refresh (err thats not a technical term :P) You're better off changing to a differnt theme e.g windows simple and then back to Opera. Hope this works for you! :D

Love this theme, my fav to date but for the life of me I can't get the internet time or any times to show up on the firs screen.

Have removed all plugins and started from scratch but just get "todays date" at top, big blank section then provider name and the time.

Any ideas!

copy the cab file to a folder on your phone using activesync - i usually use storagewindowsstart menuaccessories.

then just open the folder on the phone, & click on the cab file to install. make sure you have the right cab - for plus/free html plugin, & locked or unlocked phone. Posted from my SmartPhone!

Many thanks! I have found it by trial and error. It certainly looks very impressive, but I have a feeling I have a lot to learn about the plugins that need to accompany it. Also not too sure about "unloading it when you design a new one" :)

I have found that reloading the latest update to the e200 and then unlocking it again via Oranges site brings it back to its original state. (Minus all the customized settings I have for O2 for my unlocked e200 :P

Just want to say thanks to drblow for this fantastic theme. The best I have see to date and will be on my C500 for a long time to come.

In case there are any other C500 owners out there it can be installed on the C500 but you will have to fully application unlock the C500 via the Orange Developer site first at:
