Guest jonmayes Posted July 20, 2004 Report Share Posted July 20, 2004 Hey all, I'd like to keep all my SMS messages from WM2002 when the phone is upgraded to 2003, as I have some quite nice sentimental ones on there :P I've done a sprite backup of the whole phone just incase it went pear shaped, and tried to restore that image onto WM2003. I wasn't surprised to find that it didn't like it a great deal.. :D So, I flashed back to 2002, restored the phone from the backup image and copied the cemail.vol file from the phone to my PC, flashed back to 2003, put the cemail.vol from 2002 onto 2003, but still it won't let me see my messages :lol: Presumably this is something to do with the different folder architectures, but does anyone know how I could accomplish this?
