Guest AvWijk
Yes, it plays MIDI (up to 16 chords), WAV and WMA (WMA only with the 2003 rom!)
Guest Disco Stu
I thought the MPx200 would only play MID0 format ringtones which aren't really polyphonic. Perhaps you can play them all with WM2003 OS installed.
Guest AvWijk
a MIDI with 2 or more tracks is polyphonic (multiple tracks at the same time)
Guest awarner [MVP]
To save confusion though the mpx200 will not play normal polyphonic ringtones ie the ones you get for the nokias etc. as listed above the mpx200 plays the following, midi0 and .wav for 2002 and the extra wma for 2003
Guest dapunk
and to add the what awarner said and to avoid the original poster still not understanding what to do, you need to put the ringtones in the IPSM > application data > sounds folder for them to be accessable. there is also a way to regedit and put them on the sim card, but the former is an easy way for a novice on this phone. also, you will need an app like smart explorer if you want to move files around using your phone hope this is explanatory
Guest shyne
is there a certain file size or any other settings the wma has to be to be used as a ringtone? also is there a certain length the wma must be as well?
