I have purchased an At&T sim unlocked mpx200 from ebay and i´m thinking to upgrade it with WM 2003 rom, but i woul like to know if doing it will lock my phone again (sim lock). Thanks in advance. Guest aliensix Posted August 13, 2004 Report Share Posted August 13, 2004 Nope it wont. Sim-unlocked means you can use the phone with simcards from any networks. There's another lock known as the software lock. You wont be affected by a software lock (if you didn't upgrade) as its an AT&T phone as the software lock was only implemented by Orange phones.
