Guest Paul [MVP]
Here's my games compatability list for the C500. Please note that games that are marked as WORKING may well crash in use, but do not fail immediately or exhibit the flickering problem - gaming on the C500 is overall pretty screwy. If you have any additions, please post them in this thread, and I will update this post. If you would like a particular game tested, also feel free to post below. Guest bitbank
Paul, Can you please check if my GG/GBC/NES emulator works properly on the C500? http://smartphone.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=112206 I'm interested in the performance of the 200Mhz OMAP. Can it run all GBC and NES titles at full speed (no audio breakup)? Thanks, Larry B.

Guest peekie
will midnight be the first to fix his game??? i see most of the games that don't work are older games and midnights is new but needs the unlocked phone would be helpful if there was apart from the name of the game/app the problem it caused if its because of the no joy pad that would help in peoples final verdict to get the phone or to wait.

Guest sbl
It appears that it's a signing issue with the GAPI file gx.dll that causes older GapiDraw-games to fail on this device. We are currently working with Orange to solve this issue and hope to be able to provide a fix shortly. Guest midnight
sbl, dont think its a gapi issue to be honest, we have varying results with both our games, if neither worked then fair enough, but one does, one doesnt

Guest chucky.egg
Maybe a stupid question, but I saw a screenshot of "Slot Car" racing game, and wondered if that had been tried. Is it safe enough to try it out? I don't want to risk my new baby for a game I will probably only play a few times a month!
Guest Paul [MVP]
Slot Car Racing seems to work great, a lot smoother than on the e200 too :) P

Guest dearsina
I've just got Gnuboy working. Will test more emulators tomorrow. And how did it go? Could you play with sound without the jittering? sina london /not so much a gamer, but loves gameboy
Guest akarno
And how did it go? Could you play with sound without the jittering? sina london /not so much a gamer, but loves gameboy Speed is great. Sound is not bad without being perfect. The sound is a bit like the phone is underwater but you can work out what it should sound like. The biggest problem seems to be that you cannot press 2 keys at once. I don't know if this is a Gnuboy problem or for all C500 games. I will let you know when I have tested some others. Basically you cannot fire and move at the same time. If it is a C500 problem then that counts out most action games. Maybe someone who has tried some more games can let us know. I will report more as I test. Guest kokee
I have just tried picodrive with sonic - plays at a nice speed compared to my old spv classic. Although I did experience not being able to jump while holding left - so i have experienced the not being able to press 2 keys at once. I though this may be due to using the cursor, i also tried mapping the vol up/down buttons as jump - but it didnt work :) - i had it set up that way on me olde spv. Guest markhammill
I'm having problems with Pocket MiniGolf, it seems to be crashing while selecting player. Is it the C500 or do I have an out of date copy of Pocket MiniGolf? Thanks in advance
Guest unclelimey
cant press 2 keys at once on mine . kinda kills the phone as a gaming phone, limits the amount of games you can play. this is not good , yet again orange, htc and testers have been getting this phone ready with their eyes closed... still, its not like its come as a suprise Posted from my SmartPhone! Guest MadduckUK
oh god no.. not another imperfect phone. they had better sort the 2 button bug out (and it had better be only a bug and not hardware limitation). i will be getting one of these as soon as orange.co.uk have them and as im moving from a mio8390 iv had enough of dodgy phones  it seems at the moment NO-ONE can make anything perfect, pc's, ppc's, phones, you name it... they always have to have SOMETHING wrong. ah well.... back on the prozac eh?
