Can someone please let me know which is the latest / best ROM version to upgrade to for E100 , which can be unlocked.

Please do point a link to where I can download that ROM version as well :)

Im not saying this is the best...just the latest.

Smart Telecoms' (Philippines) latest ROM version for e100 (SAP) is version 1.8.13.2

I believe this will network LOCK your phone to Smart telco.

For the E100 the latest ROM by Orange can be found here

This will still enable you to SIM unlock the phone but you will need

to application unlock it via the OTA method.

What is the latest & most stable version that I can use on my SPV (currently on mw2002 V3 build 12255) that I would be able to sim-unlock and de-certified. I am living in Singapore.

OTA is the only method that works

What about the SPV? If you mean updates then the same update works on both E100 and SPV. As for Application unlocking, the same thing applies.

there are many people who have run the update. most people dont have a problem. make sure you back up everything thats needed and dont disconnect the power supply while updating and you should be fine. if something goes wrong you can post here and 9/10 times it can be fixed
