Guest McHale Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 bump. Just curious if anyone has put some time into hacking the registry so the phone will handle AAC files native without having to change the file name. I don't use itunes but curious as it would be a nice hack to have "just in case." -Mc
Guest midnight Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 McHale, not really, but this is better native playback :) .... http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=114401 but then, whats so hard about renaming? just create a runable bat file that is simply.. rename *.m4a *.3gp then just run it from the folder where the m4a files are, nice and quick
Guest McHale Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 thanks midnight. Once my MPx220 gets in my grubby hands, I'll see if there's a reg hack for it. BUT, is there a way to run .bat files on the smartphone? I know on the PPC there is... -Mc
Guest midnight Posted September 16, 2004 Report Posted September 16, 2004 just run it on the pc before you copy the files over :) MPx220 may not be able to play em, i dont think they'll be using IA album, and depends if they have 3gp file format i suppose.
