Guest cyrilthefish Posted August 19, 2004 Report Share Posted August 19, 2004 seeing as you're running from a laptop (limited power) and the C500 charges from USB, i'd guess your laptop's USB can't supply enough power... do you have a powered USB hub you could try it with? Guest napes2000 Posted August 20, 2004 Report Share Posted August 20, 2004 heres a thing................... just got into work where i used to sync all my diary entries with my spv 100e using active sync. i didnt load any of the new software, i just plugged my c550 into the usb port....... pc spotted and identified the c500....i was asked if i wanted guest account or normal (i chose normal).....c500 then downloaded all my appointments with no time out...... :) maybe the laptop power theory is right.....i will try on another desk top pc over the weekend..... napes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
