Assuming BT fix this, is there any point in Direct Assist in the UK when all it does is access the BT site? Or am I missing something?

For me, Yes - because I already paid, but if you haven't.... NO! (IMO) ^_^

The only benefit is the reformatted information that it returns, but if you can live with the web format (or design your own way of reformatting) then there is no difference
