i have just come across this update in my journey....

      Und es geht doch...

                               ==================================

                               >> MPX 200 UPDATE - GERMAN 2003 <<

                               ==================================

                        Das MPX200 mit einem absolut stabilen 2003 ROM.

            Alles ist auf deutsch und die Providersettings sind auch schon enthalten.

                                MICROSOFT:     4.20.13349.0

                                MANUFACTURER:  3.70.23.0

                               ==================================

                               >>         GERMAN ONLY          <<

                               ==================================

       After some unsatisfying experiences with stolen solutions and not given credits  I

       decided to strip the image down.There is no need for me to provide other languages

       than German. Just ask the people which usually provide you the solutions.. or feel

       free to start a petition for a release in your language (I watch all your forums).

my german isnt very good at all.. but my english is all good....

@nonymous has done outstanding work for us mpx200 users, and its a shame his work is marred by others.... i for one would not like to read somewhere one day.. that @nonymous is no longer working on mpx roms... that would be very disheartening....

even if its not in english great work mate, to keep us updated!

heres a vote for an english update @anony :)

the german part just says:

The MPX200 with an absolutely stable 2003 ROM. Everything is on German

and the Providersettings is already contained.

I fail tosee what this has to do with longer battery life?

This is the only release as such a modification was made to add other language support but the core of the actual ROM remains the same.

I would be very surprised to see another release as the last one

was forced to be removed so I think that will be it for now.

just a note:

the longbatt.zip release actually does fix the battery life issue of the original wm2k3 released rom. a few days ago i upgraded to 2k3 and found my battery life to have gone from three days a charge to five hours at best, in my pocket, unused.

reflashing with the longbatt.zip release has fixed that. i went a good eight hours today and the battery was still reporting four bars. no low battery warnings yet either.

phew!

There is not a long battery update more than likely someone has just renamed the file :roll:

All you have to do is make sure you do a hard reset when the

battery charge is 100% and not 95 or 98% etc. This solution works on all the 2003 rom hacks.

As this rom has been proven to be ilegal and has been removed

due to legal action, please do not ask for locations of it's download.

This rom and battery imrovement has already been discussed in detail here
