Guest tedblight Posted August 27, 2004 Report Share Posted August 27, 2004 Hey... This might be a long shot but here goes.... My PC has been playing up this last week... The main problems started when i got my C500 and also when I downloaded SP2 from MS... I'm not sure which, if any, is causing the problems... When I do a big download and leave my PC, when I return, my DSL modem lights (power, usb & adsl) are all off, and my PC is more or less locked up.... Anyway, today I formated my PC, reinstalled XP with SP1 and installed ActiveSync, but when i connected my phone and ActiveSync and Outlook2002 tried to set up an email account my 3 modem lights went off again.... So thats what makes me think it might be ActiveSync... Any thoughts?
