I use this stuff on iPaq, its very good. If the smartphone version is as good as the pocket Pc, all our prayers will have been answered.

this gps / nav seems to be the defining app for the smartphone - perhaps this is what is needed to bring it into mainstream, rather than semi-techie-stream (mem-mapped-file-stream btw!)
